On Sunday July 5th, the day that the Sinfonia Rotterdam Maritiem Concert 2020 was originally planned, the recordings of the concert in 2019 will premiere via livestream. Because of the fact that the concert, with the most beautiful skyline in the Netherlands as a backdrop, cannot be organised in the usual way in July, we present the recordings of the festival in an online event. On the program Sinfonia Rotterdam together with soul diva Shirma Rouse, artistic centipede Rajae El Mouhandiz and soprano Jeanette van Schaik and the Barguijs. With the orchestra on a pontoon in the Rotterdam Leuvehaven, the audience enjoys a spectacular program of Sinfonia Rotterdam conducted by chief conductor Conrad van Alphen, from the actually floating stairs, the stands on the Rotterdam Plein 1940 or on chairs and blankets brought along.

Op zondag 5 juli, de dag dat het Sinfonia Maritiem Concert 2020 gepland stond, gaan de opnamen van het concert in 2019 in première via een livestream.
Hét gratis muziekfeest van de havenstad, het Sinfonia Rotterdam Maritiem Concert, met als decor de mooiste skyline van Nederland kan in juli niet op gebruikelijke wijze doorgaan. Daarom bieden we de opnamen van het festival in een online event aan. Op het programma Sinfonia Rotterdam samen met souldiva Shirma Rouse, artistieke duizendpoot Rajae El Mouhandiz en sopraan Jeanette van Schaik en de Barguijs. Met het orkest op een ponton in de Leuvehaven geniet het publiek vanaf de drijvende trappen, de tribunes op Plein1940 of op meegenomen stoeltjes en dekens van een spectaculair programma van Sinfonia Rotterdam o.l.v. chef-dirigent Conrad van Alphen.

2019 is het jaar van 100 jaar Jazz in Rotterdam! De Historische Jazzroute ‘Van Pschorr tot Bird’ markeert en eert vijf verdwenen historische jazz locaties die veelbetekenend zijn geweest in de Rotterdamse jazzgeschiedenis. Vlakbij de voormalige jazz plekken vinden op zondag 30 juni buitenconcerten plaats op markante Rotterdamse plekken zoals het SINFONIA MARITIEM FESTIVAL in de historische Leuvehaven bij het Maritiem Museum.
